On a lake in Upper Bavaria, the interior design concept of “Villa meets Asia” was developed for the new construction of a family villa.

The basic idea was to design the house in the details of the interiors on the one hand like a historical villa, like an heirloom, and on the other hand to integrate a world of colours and materials in the interior that was inspired by Asian influences. In addition to classic elements such as stucco ceilings and coffered doors, warm woods, bamboo, and stone can be found.

The urban villa from 2002 in the south of Munich underwent a complete renovation. The floor plan was adapted to the needs of the family of four. The internal routing was completely rethought and parts of the building were put to a new use.
