Situated in the literature quarter, this flat is special for the artist because of what it represents. Being at the centre of the site of the French Revolution, it was frequented by the most important people. In order to leave a historical mark on the future owners, Gérard has kept the typical features of the Haussmannian apartments, the worked walls and ceilings. In this design, the artist has combined modern and mid-century elements such as the magnificent rug that delimits the dining room area.
