DECOREX 2022: What Did You Miss?
Decorex 2022 was the ideal place to catch up with the interior design community, meet new customers, relax with familiar ones at Carden Cunietti‘s The Bar, or catch up with peers over a glass of fizz in our VIP Lounge, created by De Rosee Sa.
Decorex was founded in 1978 as a meeting place for high-end interior design experts. Its purpose has changed throughout time to meet the evolving demands of the business. It has been Europe’s largest interior design show for 44 years, and they were very excited to return to Olympia London in October for a celebration of design in all its manifestations.

Over the last ten years, Andy Bishop, the Creative Director of Decorex has had the honor of working with some of the industry’s top designers to build stunning entrances, bars, lounges, and design elements. He was very excited to come back this year with an impressive venue to welcome his peers.
Decorex is Europe‘s leading interior design show and has attracted hundreds of individuals of the design community this year. Decorex 2022 took place at Olympia London from the 9th to the 12th of October, featured over 175 of the industry’s most-known interior design enterprises to inspire and delight with their wealth of lovely things.
DECOREX 2022: Europe’s Leading Interior Design Event
DECOREX 2022 offered a plethora of immersive aspects. You may check out the new Diningscpaes features, which included four room sets designed by our hand-picked designers: ND Studios, Christian Bense, Pandora Taylor, and Les Ottomans. It was a delight to learn how they’ve furnished these immersive spaces with unique tableware, furnishings, and more.
There were also several “Making Spaces,” a new element for Decorex 2022 in which a range of artists exhibited their skills and techniques live at the event. Nat Maks, for example, displayed how she marbles her incredible wallpaper designs, while Ellen Merchant demonstrated her block printing skills.
DECOREX also included a varied spectrum of interior design brands, design studios, and designers, each displaying their most recent collections of stunning furniture, rugs, textiles, lighting, decorative crafts, modern art, and more.
DECOREX also hosted “Design Talks” in collaboration with Cole & Son, where they offered new tips, insights, and perspectives to be learned. Their 2022 talks were hosted by over 80 of the brightest minds in the interior design sphere, including Ben Pentreath, Suzy Hoodless, Jojo Barr, Pollyanna Wilkinson, and Maddux Creative.
Roger Saul, the designer of the premium brand Mulberry, was given the opportunity to share his journey in creating the well-known high-end brand, as well as its success. While Editor Giles Kime gave a lecture about how to future-proof your business and design.
