Wafi Tagleb moved to Dubai at the end of 2011 and remained there until 2020, continuing to work for interior design and consulting organizations. Wafi Tagleb always had an ambition in starting his own firm and had the good fortune to work on intriguing residential projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, but it wasn’t until the end of 2020 that he actually accomplished this aim.

When working on an interior design project, Wafi Tagleb believes that studying a little bit about each of the styles and how they differ from one another is a great place to start. He uses modern, contemporary, minimalist, new classic, or even classic design styles in his projects depending on the tastes of his clients, but he always tries to guide them toward a better design version.
Presenting the newest trends while maintaining a sense of timeless style is one of Wafi Tagleb’s most difficult tasks. You don’t want your client to feel upset when a space gets stale after a few months. For him, keeping up with trends and knowing how to incorporate them tastefully is one of the hardest things for him.

What Are Wafi Tagleb Inspirations and Motivations?
The “Back to Nature” movement is his favorite. The three elements of a dream home, according to him and many other designers, are nature, emotion, and timeless design.
He likes using organic elements like marble and wood in his designs because they keep the space alive and full of memories.

He clearly has a passion for sculpture and art, and he makes use of a range of textures and materials to make his ideas stand out. Wafi Tagleb described “Bayt al omer” as one of his key points when producing, to present and reflect what his clients adore in their beautiful home design. Bayt al omer is an Arabic word or expression to describe the dream house or “home sweet home.”

He sees Dubai as a little representation of all the world’s cultures, and he finds it exciting because his customers will likely be from many different nations and hold a wide range of beliefs. “I still remember it as we did a terrific job with the design and real work,” he said of his favorite design, the first mansion in Dubai in 2020. I always attribute my success to the opinions and satisfaction of my clients.
“Regarding Maison Valentina, I am in love with the Newton Bathtub. For me, it is an outstanding sculptural design inspiration, with the high-gloss black and gold lacquered spheres, it really enhances the bathroom and is the focal point of the entire bathroom design.”
“Believe me, if you put all of your beautiful thoughts in the design, the client will never reject it or dislike it. Defend on your ideas, but remember always that the key is to understand the client’s needs first, the more in-depth knowledge you have, the more it will help you to create amazing designs.”
When coming up with fresh concepts, designers should pay closer attention to the lighting and furniture aspects and always imagine themselves as the customer or the end user. This is Wafi Tagleb’s best advice for aspiring designers.
