Luxury Interiors That Reflect The Best of Design and Art
Casa Miami. 2022
For this luxury interiors project, Electrix aimed to create a space that would suit their client’s entertainment lifestyle, and accommodate smaller aggregates of people at the same time as large groups. The purpose of creating a smaller, secondary living room divided by backless ottomans was to allow for seamless integration without harsh partitions. These smaller divisions are repeated throughout the residence and form places where guests can work, socialize, read and mingle.
Apartment Sao Paulo II. 2021
This project was a challenge. Oen of the owners, she wanted a classic European look while the other, he loved contemporary Brazilian design. For him, Electrix sought inspiration in industrial design and modernist pieces, always bringing the Brazilian identity to the project, both through design and traditional materials that exalt culture as such.
For her, Electrix focused on the more romantic details of European decor, such as boiserie moldings on the walls, woodwork with classic machining and more exuberant wallpapers. The result was excellent. The design studio sew together both aesthetic references with the love of both clients for vibrant colors and marbles together with several pieces from brands such as Santa Mônica, Natuzzi Italia, Kelly Wearstler, BoConcept, Jader Almeida, Dpot and Designer’s Guild.
Project Cobertura, 2020
This penthouse project in São Paulo aimed to create an eclectic, elegant and functional space based on inspiration: Art Deco meets European Classicism, with a hint of tropical sensuality. The studio opted for a mixture of Brazilian materials and craftsmanship for the finishes and international designers for lighting and furniture, such as: Tom Dixon, Tricia Guild, Jonathan Adler, Gaggenau, Restoration Hardware, Tuuci, Vitra and especially Luxxu and DelightFull, among others. Key pieces from Brazilian furniture brands Ornare, Artefacto and Beach & Country were also incorporated.
A Couple’s Apartment, 2018
This project was intended to give a young and “cool” look to the residence. Electrix decided to give a new approach to glamor with a bit of mystery. The predominant color palette is made up of dark tones, highlighted by the black lacquered wood floor and the sequence of gray ceramic tiles on the main wall of the room.
The space has been optimized with technology to provide a multitude of functions within the same environments. The formal living room can be opened up to the American kitchen, converted into a “home theater” with an overhead projection screen, also transforming into a cozy space with a volcanic stone fireplace. Metals and concrete were juxtaposed with faux fur and velvet and silk fabrics. Key pieces by Tom Dixon and Artefacto, along with custom-made woodwork, make this residence playful, youthful, chic and “internationally modern”.
